Athletes from Kazakhstan, Iraq, Algeria, Ukraine, Russia, Eritrea, England, Uzbekistan and Turkey participated in the Kültepe stage. Erciyes, which is the attraction point of professional athletes in many sports branches as a professional training camp, mountain and natural sports base in summer as well as winter sports, continues to attract the attention of the global cycling community. Erciyes International Road Cycling Races held between 8 July and 19 August, under the leadership of the International Cyclists Association UCI and the Turkish Cycling Federation, with the organization of Erciyes High Altitude and Sports Tourism Association and under the auspices of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Erciyes A.Ş., Spor A.Ş. and the Bicycle Tourism Association continues at full speed.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General and Erciyes A.Ş. organized the breathtaking Grand Prix Kültepe Race event. Hamdi Elcuman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, also followed suit. Erciyes Inc. Elcuman said in his speech: “We have successfully completed the Kultepe stage of the Grand Prix. It is a source of pride for Erciyes to host such international events. With the international mountain bike race, Kayseri Erciyes Mountain is seen as the most preferred place in this sense. We are happy to welcome our athletes here. In the Erciyes International Road Cycling Races under the auspices of the Metropolitan, the Grand Prix Kültepe stage was breathtaking once again. On the other hand, Kayseri Erciyes will be the first stop of the Tour of Anatolia MTB Mountain Bike Championship competitions, which will be held for the first time in Turkey and cover 4 cities. The races with stages, which will be held on 24-27 August 2023, will be started from Erciyes Ski Center. Cyclists will start from Kayseri and turn the pedals to the beauties of Anatolia in Kırşehir, Nevşehir and Kırıkkale provinces.
BICYCLE TEAMS PARTICIPATE IN CYCLING RACES FROM TURKEY AND FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD
Erciyes, which is the attraction point of professional athletes, is known as the place that hosts the most bicycle races in the world in the calendar of the International Cyclists Union UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), headquartered in Italy. The races, which started with the Grand Prix Erciyes stage on Saturday, July 8, continued with the Grand Prix Kültepe. The cyclists started their 144-kilometer tour of GP Kültepe at the Anatolian Wonderland Science Center and continued with Bünyan-Tatıli and ended at the finish point at the Anatolian Wonderland Science Center. Athletes from Kazakhstan, Iraq, Algeria, Ukraine, Russia, Eritrea, England, Uzbekistan and Turkey and 60 athletes participated in the Kültepe stage.
The race schedule is as follows: “August 19, 2023 Grand Prix Kaisareia (Male). 24-27 August 2023 Tour of Anatolia MTB Cup.” In the Erciyes International Road Cycling Races, Kazakhstani athlete Daniil Marukhın came in first, Eritrean Natnael Berhane came in second, and Kazakhstani athlete Kuzmin Almaty Astana Motors came in third. Erciyes A.Ş. rewarded the cyclists with medals, flowers and cups. It was given by Hamdi Elcuman, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
