In his first comment on the situation in Sudan, Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki stressed the need to integrate the Rapid Support Forces into the Sudanese army to resolve differences.
Afwerki said - in an interview with Eritrean TV - that eliminating differences is necessary to protect Sudan's sovereignty, stressing the need to stop the ongoing fighting in Sudan, calling at the same time on the parties to the conflict to resolve differences through dialogue under the auspices of neighboring countries, and not to open the door to foreign interference.
