Rome  - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi , today had a cordial and articulate meeting in New York with the Foreign Ministers of Ethiopia, Workneh Gebeyehu , and Eritrea, Osman Saleh .

Italy's excellent relations with both countries are consolidated

The meeting, organized in support of the agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea last September 16 in Jeddah and the peace process in progress.

Great result with positive effects on the whole region

The conclusion of the Agreement assumes a significant value and is a fundamental step for the stabilization of the so-called Horn of Africa.

Minister Moavero noted how the peace achieved between Ethiopia and Eritrea is a great result, able to deploy its positive effects on the entire region.
