Kathmandu: UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) President Lok Bahadur Thapa on December 19 met with Sophia Tesfamariam, the Permanent Representative of Eritrea to the United Nations.
During the meeting, they discussed overall preparations for the High-level Political Forum (HLPF) 2026. Thapa also invited Eritrea to consider presenting a Voluntary National Review at the 2027 HLPF.
