The steepness of the course selected the peloton and, in the final kilometres, three remained in the lead: local idol Christopher Rougier-Lagane (third at this year's Amissa Bongo Tropicale, ed); the Briton Archie Cross of Velo Schils Interbike and Berhane. 300 meters from the finish, the Eritrean of Beykoz Belediyesi launched the sprint and clearly anticipated Rougier-Lagane and Cross.
Maximilian Stedman, winner of yesterday's stage, accused a delay of 4'55" and lost the yellow leader's jersey which passed on the shoulders of his teammate Cross, who on the eve of the final stage has a 20" advantage over Rougier-Lagane and 49” against Bike Aid's Pirmin Eisenbarth.
