Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki took in sweeping views of Moscow from the observation deck of the city's iconic Ostankino Tower during a visit to the Russian capital.
Footage shows Afwerki arriving at the tower and greeting Russian representatives before touring the landmark with his delegation. He is seen walking through its corridors and looking out across the Moscow skyline.
Afwerki arrived in Moscow on October 27 to attend the Third Russia-Africa Summit, held on October 28 and 29. The gathering brought together delegations from 48 African countries, with 22 represented at the highest level.
Leaders, ministers, business representatives and experts discussed political and economic co-operation, security, science and technology, as well as cultural and humanitarian ties.
The summit concluded with the adoption of three key documents: the Declaration of the Third Russia-Africa Summit, a declaration on co-operation in the civilian use of artificial intelligence, and the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum Action Plan for 2027-2029.
Around 150 agreements and other co-operation documents were also signed during the summit and related events.
The first Russia-Africa Summit was held in Sochi in October 2019, followed by the second in St Petersburg in July 2023.
