On Nov. 23, police were called to attend a residence near 157 Avenue and 130A Street to perform a welfare check. It was there that they discovered the victim. Police at the time deemed the scene as suspicious, but an autopsy was required to confirm the cause of death. The Edmonton medical examiner’s office concluded the autopsy on Thursday.
