Eritrea, located in the Arabian-Nubian Shield, is rich in mineral resources within the Proterozoic greenstone belt, which covers about 60% of its land area. The country has abundant deposits of copper, iron, gold, nickel, manganese, barite, feldspar, kaolin, potash, rock salt, gypsum, asbestos, and marble.
However, as most of the mineral resources are distributed in remote and arid regions, lacking commercial power supply, large-scale diesel generator solutions are essential to support mineral development and local power demand.
