Italy-Eritrea: Tajani receives counterpart Saleh, focus on relaunching cooperation

Rome, 19 July 15:10 - (Agenzia Nova) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh. 

The Farnesina reported it on Twitter, explaining that the conversation focused on the role of Eritrea for regional stability, as well as on the close historical and cultural ties with Italy and cultural cooperation. 

The dialogue, continues the Farnesina, has made it possible to formulate the hope of a relaunch of the bilateral dialogue between Italy and Eritrea "on shared negotiating bases, growth of trade and investments, with attention to the construction of railway and motorway infrastructures".
