The season of Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, which had successfully debuted in January in Venezuela, starts from the classic Trofeo Laigueglia (Uci 1.Pro).
On Wednesday the Ligurian race will mark the start of the Italian season. The team, which historically has always done good things at Laigueglia and which prepared the start of the Italian season on the roads of the Riviera di Ponente in Alassio, had started this 2021 winning two stages at the Vuelta al Tachira. Now the Italian race (202 kilometers) with ten World Tour teams at the start. The Italians Mattia Bais, Simone Ravanelli and Filippo Tagliani, Colombians Daniel Munoz and Santiago Umba, Argentine Eduardo Sepulveda, making his debut with the new jersey as well as the Eritrean Natnael Tesfatzion, will race for the Androni Giocattoli Sidermec, directed by Gianni Savio and Giovanni Ellena.
