"I am firmly convinced that the agricultural sector will play a fundamental role in the development of Africa - said the President of Cesena Fiera - and to meet the food needs of this continent. First of all we must remember that fruit and vegetables is healthy food. Produce fresh fruit and vegetables is easy today: we need water, sun and technology. In Africa The main problem is access to technology and the use of low water consumption techniques. Italy, which is a leader in these two sectors, can make a major contribution to the development of African countries. Furthermore, Africa can be an important market for some of our products such as apples and kiwis ".
