The note, in which the date of the trip does not specify, was disclosed after Marielle De Sarnez, chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the French National Assembly, met in Addis Ababa with Ethiopian State Minister for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hirut Zemene.
During the meeting, De Sarnez praised the peace agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea, which she considered essential to guarantee peace and stability in the so-called Horn of Africa.
She also described the reforms applied by Addis Ababa Government as positive to foster a more inclusive State and with options for comprehensive growth at mid term.
According to the source, the policy also described as exemplary the growing development, trade and investment assistance ties between Ethiopia and France.
Zemene said the two nations have a strong political relationship and growing economic cooperation, especially in trade, investment and development assistance.
