JEDDAH (Halbeeg News) – Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh has welcomed the Peace Agreement between Ethiopia and Eritrea in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The two leaders of Ethiopia and Eritrea, Abiy Ahmed and Asais Afwerki on Saturday inked peace deal.

President Guelleh commended Saudi Arabia’s commitment to promote peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.

He noted that Saudi Arabia aims to reach a comprehensive and lasting peace between the two countries, with the international blessing saying the Kingdom is one of the pillars of security, peace, and stability in the region and the world.0

The President also said that his country will continue its efforts as an active partner with the Kingdom in efforts to increase the level of security and stability in this part of the world,
