Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has acted as Australian legal adviser to ASX-listed potash company Danakali Limited in connection with its dual listing on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Danakali, a West-Australian based mining company, is focused on the development of the Colluli Potash Project in Eritrea, Africa, and is developing the project with co-owner, the Eritrean Nation Mining Corporation. The dual listing is one of the company’s key strategic objectives in connection with the development.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team led by partner Adam Edelman advised Danakali as the primary Australian legal adviser for the London listing, working closely with Danakali, its UK legal advisers and local Eritrean counsel to help deliver on a key milestone for the Danakali.

Norton Rose Fulbright is advising Danakali on a number of matters across several practice groups, including recently advising Danakali Ltd and its subsidiary, Colluli Mining Share Company (CMSC), on a bankable binding take-or-pay offtake agreement with EuroChem Trading GmbH (EuroChem) in relation to up to 100 per cent of the Module 1 Sulphate of Potash production from CMSC’s Colluli Potash Project, located in Eritrea.

The firm continues to be involved on all aspects of the Colluli Project, including project financing, development and delivery on the development and financing of the Colluli Potash Project.
