It was not suicide. So the 24 year old Eritrean was probably thrown from the balcony by her partner
The experts have evaluated, after careful investigations and reconstructions, that the young woman who died last month falling from the terrace of her house, can not be dead as a result of a simple fall. His countryman and 35-year-old comrade, who professes himself innocent, remains in prison

BELLINZONA - It was July 3 when he found his death falling from the balcony of his house in Bellinzona. The victim was a young 24-year-old Eritrean, who immediately spoke of a quarrel with her boyfriend and father of her children, who was arrested shortly thereafter.

He always said he was innocent. His thesis was that the woman had voluntarily thrown herself from the terrace, and that he would try to restrain her.

The investigators obviously also investigated this hypothesis, and now it seems that it can be definitively excluded. As anticipated by the RSI, the position in which the body of the 24 year old was found is in fact not compatible with the fall, as a result of technical examinations based on the autopsy and a reconstruction, even with the mannequins.

So, it remains the thesis that it was the 35 year old to throw it from the balcony. Meanwhile, the man remains in prison.

Eritrean fell from the balcony: it was not suicide

The results of the assessment deny what was affirmed by the woman's husband

BELLINZONA - The 24 year old Eritrean died on the evening of last 3 July after falling from the balcony of her apartment in Bellinzona.

This is reported by the RSI, stating that the report prepared to verify the reliability of the statements of her husband - still in prison on charges of intentional murder - has considered the hypothesis of suicide to be "unlikely".

The result of the report prepared by the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the University of Bern - based on calculations, assessments on the outcome of the autopsy and new simulations - explains that the position in which the body was found seems not to be compatible with the thesis a simple fall.
