Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh and advisor to President Isaias Afwerki Yamane Ghebreab will arrive in Khartoum on Tuesday morning for a two-day visit in which the delegation transmits a message from Afewerki to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, in addition to a meeting with the Vice President of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan (Hamidati), And the Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, to discuss relations between Khartoum and Asmara, in addition to discussing the situation in the region, and the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the State of Eritrea in Sudan, Ambassador Ibrahim Idris, told (last moment): The visit is the result of the continuation of the summit that brought together Presidents Afwerki and Burhan in June and September of this year, as well as a visit President Afewerki visited Ethiopia, and the ambassador added that the visit aims to develop the excellent relations between the two countries and to tighten coordination between the two countries on regional issues.

Last July, a high-ranking Eritrean military delegation headed by the Eritrean Chief of Staff visited Sudan.
