Subject: Post-Doctoral Fellow/Research Associate - Climate Change

We are looking for a suitable candidate for a one-year position at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Research Centre in Ottawa, Canada. The research focuses on the impacts of climate change on agriculture, and makes use of general circulation model (GCM) outputs to develop downscaled agricultural sector scenarios and agroclimatic indices. The candidate preferably should have experience in using weather generators under a computer modelling environment, have a knowledge of agrometeorology and/or climatology and be able to do work independently. Experience in and/or knowledge of methods of downscaling GCM outputs would be an asset. A candidate with a PhD is preferred, but persons with equivalent experience can be considered.
