Those who admitted inadvertently
That they are weak, incapable and impotent
That they failed on their own
That they have no power
That they have given up
That they have lost on their effort to subjugate,
Failed to control Eritrea
Failed to stop the people of Eritrea from marching
Sanctioned are those:
Who inadvertently, with their late actions, admitted Eritrea won
All the battles they ignited,
Hurdles they placed
Maneuvers they maneuvered
Tricks they played
International reputation they lost
Principles they sacrificed
Sanctioned are those
Who resorted to taking communities into the darkest ages of injustices
For feeble greed
For the sake of cartels
For the sake of the rich
By making a mockery of justice
By bringing back racism to the forefront at the highest form
By exposing their tools of subjugation
By sacrificing the reputation of international body
Sanctioned are those:
Who toiled day and night
Cried, wrote, and campaigned and with the hopes:
To sit atop a horse,
Marching through the streets of Adwa,
To stridently gallop into Asmara
Victorious,
With Meles on their side waving to the people
Hoped,
Their tedious efforts will pay off
That they can, finally exhale in Eritrea
Only to find out, it isn’t so!
No horses, no slay, no carriage
No singing dances of victory but a hollow hurray
Cause, Asmara is still where it was yesterday, out of reach to them!!!
Sanctioned are those:
Who failed to grasp vengeance is like a forest
That their vengeful act will not pay fruit
That it will only make them sleepless
For trying to seed fear, division, racism and religious strife
Who know they can’t sleep comfortably any more
Who have taken a bite from the apple that will change their lives for good
They will be up and awake day and night not knowing what is coming
Sanctioned are those:
Who failed to understand
Failed to try to know the people, the good people
Failed to feel Eritrea deserves a Xmas present
Failed to feel the shame of not feeling for the people of Eritrea
Failed to realize the fruit of their powers for the good of the people of Africa
Sanctioned are those:
Who failed to see Eritrea just received another budge,
A budge of freedom,
Freedom from the controls of any power
By winning all the battles, wars they created, walls they built
Lies they concocted,
Eritrea is freer now.
Because Eritrea knows its salvation is her unity
Eritrea knows her freedom is based on her illusive-united-resilience
Based on joyous structures that guide her people
Free to pursue anything she dares and wants
Free to pursue justice
Free to fight injustices
Free to fight evil, openly
Free to fight fear they want Eritreans to feel
Free to enjoy holidays, and every day
Free to ignore the mental terror they desired to impose on a holiday
Free to pursue happiness they desired to derail
Eritreans are free because they are wiser and know the mental games
Eritreans are free because they know where they come from
Eritreans know the history, not to be shaken
Enjoy the Holidays Ertra, your joy was their aim, so don’t give them that satisfaction!
