Presidents Al-Bashir and Afewerki Inaugurate Number of Health
Establishments in Port-Sudan
Port Sudan Nov 17 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer
Al Bashir, accompanied by the Eritrean President, Issias Afewerki
Tuesday inaugurated in Port-Sudan a number of public health
institutions.
The health facilities include the Eye Hospital, the Sea Ports Hospital
and the Medical Staff Residence. President Al Bashir also launched
fishing boats and cooperative taxis projects which were implemented
through the micro finance programme of the Zakat Chamber and National
Saving Bank.
President Afewerki Tuesday met with the Eritrean community in Port-Sudan
and was seen off at Port-Sudan Airport by President Al Bashir. President
Afewerki arrived in Port-Sudan to partake in the Third Tourism and
Shopping Festival and the Tree Day Festival. AH/MO
