Re: Reconstruction of San Giorgio School
San Giorgio School, one of the oldest and biggest schools of Eritrea , has graduated a multitude of students over the span of half a century. This reputable school is now on the verge of utter dilapidation due to aging. A reconstruction plan has been adopted to remedy the dire situation and an appeal is sent out to all Eritreans inside the country and in the Diapora to rally behind or support this noble cause.
As witnessed during the struggle for the realization of national independence and for the preservation of national sovereignty, marshalling joint effort is the trademark of the Eritrean people. Encouraged by this tradition, we would like to solicit and enlist the support of all Eritreans, regardless of where they received their early education or which corner of Eritrea they emanated from, to make the reconstruction project a success. Today it is San Giorgio School! Tomorrow it will be another school in need of renovation! The common denominator remains the same: Advancing education!
The National Association for the Reconstruction of San Giorgio School, Inc. is staging an event dubbed “An Evening with the Reconstruction Project of San Giorgio School”, the highlight of which will be deliberation, entertainment and fundraising. All Eritreans are cordially invited to make this evening pleasant and productive.
Bringing under age children is not permitted.
