ERITREA IN THE BENTV DIPLOMATIC AWARD 2011At a ceremony on 25 January 2011, the Embassy of the State of Eritrea attended the BEN TV annual Diplomatic Awards, receiving the 'Distinguished Contribution to Diplomacy' award. The Eritrean Ambassador H.E Tesfamicael Gerahtu Ogbaghiorghis, picked the award for his mission which won in the category of good customer service , positive projection of country's image and Diaspora development. The ambassador was also awarded the DIPLOMAT OF THE YEAR 2011( HORN OF AFRICA). Collecting the award on behalf of the Eritrean Embassy, the Ambassador of the State of Eritrea to the UK thanked BENTV for recognizing Eritrea's development efforts and the Mission activities. The Ambassador further thanked BENTV for creating an alternative media outlet and a new media reality for reflecting African Development and the activities of various missions in the UK. The ceremony was attended by ambassadors and high commissioners
