South African cyclist boasts to take the rest of the Golds in Asmara
The most accomplished South African Cyclist, Janse Van Rensburg, said he expects to take the rest of the gold medals of the African Championships in Asmara. He told reporters after the first day Chronometer competition. Janse Van Rensburg is no doubte one of the finest cyclists in Africa but don't think that Daniel or Frekalsi will take it lightly.
The Eritrean Cyclists have not said anything except waiting for the Action day to kick in Friday.
In this individual Chronometer, Eritrea will be represented by Daniel Teklehaimanot and Frekalsi Debesai. South Africa could be represented by Janse Van Resbug and Lewis; and both are tough competitors. Individually, also Morocco and Ruwanda could be top contendors.
In a related event, The women's race is expcted to kick in tomorrow and we wish the Eritrean women the best of luck !
