What can Eritreans in the Diaspora do to promote Eritrea? Rasied a participant last week, this issue deserves thorough coverage and consequently is selected as today’s topic. Each of the following topics will be analyzed in some detail. Strategy to be followed based on thorough analysis of existing situations and future need. Information on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Strengths constitute the resources and capabilities the Diaspora and Eritrea has. Weaknesses constitute vulnerabilities that we may have to protect from being exploited by detractors and enemies. Opportunities are possibilities that are waiting to be realized. Threats involve current or future action by enemies and their ultimate goals.

Strategies followed by enemies of Eritrea are going to be examined in some detail, using recent disclosures and events. The approach to be followed by Eritreans in the Diaspora will be one built on the existing institutions and programs but extends to proactive action.
