President Al Bashir and his Eritrean counterpart, who is on a 2-day official visit to Sudan, entered into joint talks at the Guest House over the bilateral relations and how to support and develop it. However, the Sudanese/|Eritrean relations are considered as strategic due to the joint concerns regionally and bilaterally.

The talks will definitely include the borders, the movements of the communities between the two countries besides the main infrastructure projects linking the two countries to achieve the aspirations of the two nations.
The visit came just on time as the recent days there were rumours here and there that there are tensions in the Sudanese/Eritrean relations besides the allegations that the there are a kind of military mobilization on the bordering areas.

Official statements in both countries refuted such allegations and rumours and affirmed that such news represent the dreams of some opposition figures to create disability in the area.
The distinguished guest arrived on the right time to refute the allegations.

Needless to say that the Eritrean President and his country have their aspired roles considering that Asmara is on of the capitals which receive both government and opposition figures without siding this or that a matter that can help in playing its neutral role to achieve stability in the region in general.

We believe that stability in both countries will reflect positively especially in security and economic situations.

The Sudanese/Eritrean bilateral relations are still in need of reinforcement for the benefit of the people in both countries.

Eritrea, which is enjoying considerable stability under the leadership of President Isiasi Afwerki in no doubt recalling Sudan's roles in its contemporary course.

It is true that the relations witnessed in the past some tensions, but the wisdom of the leaders always put end to such tensions.

Sudan and Eritrea are still in need to the efforts of each other to accomplish the political, economic and boosting the social relations.

Exchanging visits in such high level delegations in one of the demands of the upcoming stage to push the rates of bilateral interests and to open new horizon in the relations in the area which could be developed for a comprehensive regional and centennial unity.
