President Al-Bashir to Inaugurate Continental Road between Sudan to Eritrea
Khartoum, June 5 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, will inaugurate on July 1st the 26-kilometer continental highway between Sudan and Eritrea
The Wali (governor) of Kassala State, Mohamed Adam Yousif, said that President Al-Bashir accompanied by the Eritrean President, Issias Afwerki, will inaugurate the road linking Kassala with the Eritrean Al-Laffa town which is financed by Qatar at the cost of 50 million dollars in the context of its support to the peace efforts in Sudan

The Wali, who met President Al-Bashir at the Republican Palace Sunday, said in press statements following the meeting that President Al-Basher's visit to Kassala State includes the opening of the Military Hospital at Hamashkoraip, the Police Hospital and a number of development projects in the state
