Qatar's Embassy in Eritrea Celebrates National Day
Asmara, December 17 (QNA) - Eritrea's President Isaias Afwerki and his wife attended a reception hosted by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Eritrea Mohamed bin Ali Al Nuaimi on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The reception was also attended by Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, Defense Minister General Sebhat Ephrem and a number of ministers and senior officials and the Eritrean Mufti Sheikh Al Amin Osman Al Amin, in addition to the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to Eritrea.
HE the ambassador delivered a speech in which he highlighted some of the major achievements made by the State of Qatar in various fields under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent, and also underlined the importance of the anniversary of National Day this year as it coincided with Qatar's winning the rights of hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
President Afwerki entrusted HE Ambassador to convey his greetings and congratulations to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent, wishing for them continued good health and happiness and for the Qatari people constant prosperity. (QNA)
