Eritrean cyclists have once again decided to mark their territory in the Tour of Rwanda after the African games.
For the second stage of the tour run in the morning yesterday, champion Daniel Teklehaimanot from Eritrea has imposed himself without any ambush with 8 seconds ahead of Morocco's Ail Jelloul. Teklehaimanot assumes at the same time the yellow jersey.
This leader's jersey, the young Eritrean will not be flocking it too long.
Indeed, three hours later, the third stage was won by French Benjamin Trouche.
Tekle Tesfai who arrived in third position recognizes 3mn 8s ahead of his compatriot Daniel Teklehaimanot and he robbed him the precious yellow jersey.
