On July 26, 2010, OLA freedom fighters have attacked the Wayyaanee army who was terrorizing the Oromo population in the area by accusing them of "harboring and feeding the OLF fighters" and also dispatched to "search" OLA freedom fighters, killing 14 enemy troops and wounding at least 7 others in Western Haragee zone in the vicinity of Sakattee at a place known as Waayyuu.

On another day of operation on July 29, 2010, OLA freedom fighters operating in Western Harargee zone, Daaroo Labuu county [Woreda], made a coordinated attack on enemy troops at a place known as Daareemoo instantly killing 23 and wounding more than 16 others.

In this operation our freedom fighters have captured several automatic machine guns, hand grenades and ammunitions and other military equipments and made the property of the Oromo liberation struggle led by OLF.

Angered by the action of OLA, the Woyanee invading army is said to be terrorizing the civilian local population, the report added.
