July 9, 2010 - In our contemporary world the politicians the media and the
mega corporations are making their way to sway the opinion to the direction
where their own benefit is served. This has been the case for so long
despite the struggle and effort made to resolve the horn of African
problems.

Propaganda as some might interpret fusing the word as they wish to imply as
marketing, public relations, diplomacy etc. with few tweaks here and there
convince if they can or win sympathy on applying their well studied and
designed agenda.

The persuasion methodology might differ but targeting individual person
personality and individual country, with sufficient fund can easily strike
the target and may inflict some damage to certain degree.

Eritrea as a new nation has still a lot to do to come to the level its own
citizen wish to have. It is only 19 years since independence. Needless to
mention with in this short period of time, and relative to a nation building
the challenges that this nation faced is so humongous. Yet, it is
challenging the challenges to reach the set ambition that the people of
Eritrea want to achieve and live in their life time.

Prosperous Eritrea can be witnessed with dedication and hard work, but also
when the peace with in the region is realized.

The war that imposed by Ethiopia, as much as all the Eritreans and peace
loving Ethiopians wanted it to be of the past, unfortunately the regime in
Addis does not want it to happen. As stated in the introduction the main
reason for the regime wants to hold on the hostility is to use it as scare
tactic.

The intervention in the horn of Africa is also part of the regional strategy
to create and manage conflicts. Djibouti fell in to the trap and appeared to
be part of the problem in its entirety of the horn of Africa region by
creating non-existent border conflict with Eritrea.

This matter is taking the right course on resolving it, provided the parties
will abide and be accountable for their words. The Eritrean part has shown
time and time again their words are indeed their deeds. The Hanish Island
case with Yemen versus Eritrea has proven to be the rule of law is the only
way to achieve lasting peace. Hoping Djibouti will abide by the accord
aforementioned.

When decisions are made with in, it is obvious considerations are taken to
the benefit of the citizens. When decision are made by countries who puts
their national interest as is expected to be ahead of the interest of the
peoples of the region the outcome does not fit to the will of the people.

Hope Djibouti and Eritrea overcome external interference in the course of
their path to peace.
