Eritrean running team wins gold at World Mountain Championships held in Italy on Sunday
The senior men's team competition for World Mountain Championships was won by Eritrea with 24 points, with Italy taking silver at second (39 points) and Turkey rounding out the medals with 75 points.
The U.S. men finished in sixth (117 points).
The Junior men did not take part in the competition. It is recalled the the Eritrean team also won the previous World Mountain Championships held two years ago.
