We are pleased to announce, once again, the beautiful city of Washington DC
will host the
*2009 fifth Annual North America Youth Conference*.
For the last four years, YPFDJ-NA has been organizing this annual conference
for all
interested and passionate young men and women around the USA and Canada. In
addition, Y-PFDJ delegates from European, Australian and other global
chapters have
been coming to experience this highly educational and motivational
pilgrimage. The aim
of the conference is to empower Eritrean youth and create continuity and
sustainability
amongst youth in the Diaspora and their State of origin Eritrea.
Participants will gain the opportunities to
• Networking
• Exchanging ideas
• Building leadership skills
• Entertainment and camaraderie y
Discussion will cover some of the following topics and more
• Lesson on Eritrea’s struggle for sustainability and viability
• Civic engagement and community development
• Social and cultural awareness
• Political& Economical Consciousness.
• Organizational development
If you have the passion to learn about your history, heritage, and would
like to be
involved in Eritrea’s national affairs, then do not miss this opportunity.
