Cabinet approves opening a permanent mission in Eritrea
Cabinet has approved a proposal to open a permanent Sri Lankan High
Commission in Eritrea, Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama told
reporters in Colombo today. He said the decision was taken during a
Cabinet meeting yesterday.
The move to open the new High Commission comes amidst reports the LTTE
has a network operating in the African country. (DS)
