Advisor of Eritrean President : Sudanese - Sudanese Solution is the Best
One for Darfur Issue
Khartoum, Oct. 16 (SUNA)- The Advisor of the Eritrean President, Yamani
Gebrab, said that his country prefers and supports the Sudanese -
Sudanese solution for Darfur issue. Interviewed by SUNA upon his arrival
at Khartoum Airport Wednesday evening, Gebrab said that he visiting
Sudan in response to invitation of the national unity government to
participate at the Forum on the Initiative of the People of Sudan. He
referred to an expected role of initiative of the people of Sudan to
contribute to reaching a peaceful and just solution for Darfur issue.
The Eritrean official said that Eritrea believes that the people of
Sudan are much aware about their own issues, therefore Eritrea prefers
the Sudanese - Sudanese solution for Darfur issue. He said that the
solution that would be achieved through the consensus of the people of
Sudan will be the best, permanent and the most just one for Darfur and
other issues in Sudan. He said that Eritrea will support realization of
a peaceful solution for Darfur issue. MO/MO
