Emir holds talks with Eritrean president

HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and Eritrean President
Isaias Afewerki held a meeting here yesterday during which they
reviewed bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern.
Earlier yesterday morning, the Emir led well-wishers who welcomed
President Afewerki and his accompanying delegation at Doha
International Airport.
Also present at the welcoming ceremony were HE the Prime Minister and
Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, HE the
Minister of Economy and Finance Yousef Hussein Kamal, HE the Chief of
the Emiri Diwan Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Saud al-Thani, HE the Minister
of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdulaziz
al-Thani, Ambassador of Qatar to Eritrea Mohamed Ali al-Nuaimi, the
Eritrean Ambassador to Qatar Ali Ibrahim Ahmed and the embassy
