(Press TV) 19 killed in Somalia clan clashes

At
least 19 people are killed and more than 28 others injured in a
fighting between two clans in southern Somalia, a report says.
The incident happened on Saturday when gunmen attacked a group of
people to force them to leave Kismayu region, 500 km south of Somali
capital, Mogadishu.
Press TV correspondent in the region reported on Saturday that clan
revenge erupted new clashes and no one could stop the violence.
South of Somalia has been the scene of daily fighting between
different clans and hundreds of civilians have been killed by armed
clansmen during the past weeks.
Since the overthrow of President Siad Barre in 1991, Somalia has
been without a central government and thousands of civilians have been
killed and displaced as a result of the continuous violence in the
war-torn country.
