Morales says USAID plots against Bolivia

President Evo Morales says the US is using the US Agency for
International Development (USAID) to plot against his government.
The statement came after tension flared up between Bolivia and the
US earlier this week, when the local government in Bolivia's central
Chapare region expelled the US aid agency, accusing it of supporting
the opposition parties.
Morales expressed his support for the expulsion of USAID, saying it was a 'dignified and sovereign action.'
However, Morales said that his country will not break off ties with any nation despite recent tensions with the US.
Morales said at a press conference in the governmental headquarters
in the Bolivian capital of La Paz on Friday, "Bolivia will never break
off ties with any country. And if they want to leave, it is their own
business."
He claimed that Bolivia welcomes all transparent international aid
with open arms, but rejects any thing which is disguised as aid but is
actually aimed at exerting political influence over the Latin American
country.
Meanwhile, the Bolivian local media reported that Morales' support
for the expulsion of the USAID irritated the US , which considers
Morales' declaration as 'inappropriate, unfriendly and regrettable.'
