WORLD Youth Olympics 2000m steeplechase bronze medallist, Zachariah
Kiprotich, 17, will lead Uganda’s assault at the East Africa Youth
Championships due later this month in Asmara, Eritrea.
The national athletics body UAF has named a team of four for the event that
is due April 29-30.
The runners were selected basing on their past performance in both national
and international events, and the last two national trials at Namboole.
“They are the best in that category,” said UAF secretary Beatrice Ayikoru.
