"The Red sea gets its name because it looks red. This is from an acid that is red from the algae that lives in the sea. There are red blooms from a natural resource (bacteria) in the water. This turns the water red and is called "sea sawdust."

This sea is mentioned in the Bible in several scriptures. It is located in the middle of Asia and Africa. On the west is Egypt while on the east side is Jordan. Yemen and Saudi-Arabia are on the side of Jordan. Eritrea and Sudan are on the west side with Egypt. The Indian Ocean has an inlet from the Red sea. It is believed that the "red land" once known as the Egyptian Desert borders the Red sea."

The location of the White Sea is in Russia. The exact location in Russia is on the Northwest coast. Russia counts the White Sea as a portion of its inner waters. Also located on the same coast is the Barents Sea. The
Barents Sea has an inlet on the south that is the White Sea. North of the White Sea is the Kola Peninsula. At this time this sea is the Soviet Unions submarine and navel base.

On this sea is Arkhangelsk which is a primary port. The main trade in the history of Russia was called the worldwide center. This was managed by the pioneers on the side of the sea. These settlers were known as the Pomors.

The White Sea gets its name from the pale colored light and ice. This makes the waters look so light it actually looks white.

The Red sea gets its name because it looks red.

It is believed that the "red land" once known as the Egyptian Desert borders the Red sea.

Being a inland sea the Black sea is confined by Anatolia, Caucasus and Europe.
These are also connected to the Atlantic Ocean by the Mediterranean Sea. In the area of Asia and Europe the Black sea water is divided. The total area of the sea is 168,500 square miles.

Its water also flows against Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine and Romania.
When the water is up it flows over into the Mediterranean Sea. The water from this sea and the water from the global oceans join.

It receives its name through a theory of the direction of the north on the compass. This theory was set apart from old times. Another way is suspected that its name came from the color of the clouds and fog. These
clouds and fog appear from sudden storms that are dark. This makes the sea look black.

The North Pacific Ocean has an inlet that is big. This large inlet is the Yellow sea. This inlet is in the middle of the Korean peninsula and NE China. The sea is well known for the fishing. On the sea of China where they connect is where the fishing ground is located. The Yellow sea is a 161, 00 Sq mile area of water and as deep as 338 foot.

There are several cities that have leading ports. These city ports use the Yellow sea for trade. The ports are located at; Dalian in China, Namp'o of North Korea, Qingdao and Inch'on of South Korea.

The yellow sea received its name from the sand storms. Sand from the storms make the waters turn yellow. Another is from the color of the fine sand and earthy material along its coast. Also there are some rivers that have the same silt that flows into the yellow sea.

These are some interesting facts about the seas named from colors.
