Second African victory in the Tropicale Amissa Bongo, second victory for
Eritrea. After Daniel Teklehaimanot in Lambaréné last Friday, it is the turn
of Natnael Berhane to win the last step of the tour in Libreville. He beat
in the sprint Jérôme Pineau (QuickStep). Supported by the public, the young
rider (19 years) could not hold back his tears on the podium while the
Gabonese Prime Minister Paul Mba Biyoghé, handed him the jersey of the
winner

The other event of this test was the fight for the yellow jersey. Anthony
Charteau did not fail under the pressure of Adil Jelloul (Morocco) and
retain his title. He wins for the second time the Tropicale Amissa Bongo; it
may be the evidence of nice victories: his success in 2010 was followed by
the polka dot jersey of the best climber of the Tour de France. . Dan Dan
Craven (UCI Continental Center) completes the picture of the rewards, since
he is the best climber.
