This came when he received the Eritrean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Osman Salih, who was on a visit to south Sudan

Meanwhile, Salih said in a statement to SUNA that his meeting with Salva Kiir focused on issues of coming referendum of Southern Sudan, affirming that his country respects the choice of the people of south Sudan
