Please find attached in pdf format a Tigrinya poem for Prof Tekie Fessehatzion titled "tekie aymoten" (Tekie is not Dead) by Ato Tekie Beyene. Vetran EPLF fighter, and former Governor of the National Bank of Eritrea, Ato Tekie Beyene is an accomplished writer, whose book of memoir in Tigrnya, "kab riQ - Hfnti", covering the period from late 1950s to 1979, has been published in Asmara by Hdri Publishers in 2009. In this poem, Ato Tekie Beyene eulogizes his longtime friend since childhood, the late Prof. Tekie Fessehatzion. In a funeral ceremony attended by hundreds of well-wishers and admirers, family members and friends, as well as government officials, ministers and veteran fighters, Prof. Tekie Fessehatzion was laid to rest at Asmara's Haz-Haz Cemetery on Wednesday, 28 April 2010.
