Security Council Committee on Somalia and Eritrea Revises Its Guidelines

On 30 March 2010, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 751
(1992) and 1907 (2009) concerning Somalia and Eritrea adopted revised
guidelines for the conduct of its work. The guidelines were revised to take
account of the provisions contained in resolution 1907 (2009), which imposed
an arms embargo, a travel ban and an assets freeze on Eritrea.
The revised guidelines will be transmitted to all States for their
information and use, as necessary, and will be posted on the Committee's
