Hi,

Please have a look at the article in the link below...while the Ethiopians
were starving in 1984, the TPLF was stealing money from aid
organization...this left many people dying.

We have seen Ethiopia's history from the late 1800s to 2010 how famine aid
donation for their millions of the population have been diverted to purchase
military weapons while their people are dying. Thank goodness to the
resilience, cohesive, and effectiveness the Eritrean people were able to
defeat minority powers in Ethiopia.

We saw how famine was politicized in 1997, 2000, 2000s decade, and as we
start the 2010s decade the TPLF is advertising their hungry population on
television screens and print media outlets (BBC, CNN, Reuters, AFP, AP, and
etc) across the world in order to steal aid money from the Ethiopian
populations in Ogaden and Oromo areas as a political punishment for their
god given right for self determination. However, this aid is not going to
the people who need to be fed, but the aid money is being diverted to
purchase more weapons to facilitate the TPLF adventurism in Ethiopia and
Horn of Africa. The TPLF has forgotten it's history of the 1984 famine
which Mengistu Hailemariam used famine, mostly, against the people of Tigray
in order to receive cash he desperately needed to purchase more weapons.
Mengistu was able to purchase his weapons using the aid money from
international donors, but he failed to have any military impact against the
EPLF. The EPLF rose to the challenge and defeated the Ethiopian army in the
battle of Afabet which was the marching hall to Massawa, Asmara and the
liberation of Eritrea.

We must put pressure on the UK, USA, EU, UN, and other donor countries that
if they provide the TPLF with monetary aid donation, the donor countries
will be held responsible if the aid money is diverted from food to weapon.
The crimes committed by the TPLF using donor money makes the donor
countries complicit to the TPLF crimes within it's border or neighboring
countries. The west cannot continue to give Ethiopia a blind eye while the
donor countries tax dollars is going to a regime that continues to commit
these crimes.
