The National Capital Branch of the Canadian International Council
organized this two-day conference, which was held in Ottawa from
January 21st to 22nd, 2010.
Louise Fréchette from the Centre for International Governance
Innovation moderated this January 21st session that discussed the
issue of governance in 2015. Louis Pauly, the Canada Research Chair in
Globalization and Governance at the University of Toronto, spoke about
the challenges faced by global institutions.
Haile Menkerios, the UN's assistant secretary general for political
affairs, discussed the Security Council in 2015.
