achieve the set goal. The President made the salient remarks in a meeting he
conducted today with Ministers, members of the PFDJ Executive Bureau,
Regional Administrators and Army Commanders.

President Isaias Afwerki stressed the need to clearly identify the
responsibility and task of every sector from top to bottom so that the
integrated action plan for 2010 may achieve the set goal. The President made
the salient remarks in a meeting he conducted today with Ministers, members
of the PFDJ Executive Bureau, Regional Administrators and Army Commanders.
He indicated that the initiatives being taken by Eritrean nationals inside
the country and abroad in opposing the unjustifiable stances and enhancing
contribution in the national development drive fully attest to their
commitment and mature awareness. In this regard, President Isaias underlined
the need for the effective implementation of the envisaged programs in a set
timetable and in an organized manner so as to register still more

Noting that the envisaged programs require clear strategy and plan, as well
as effective organization, implementation and supervision, the President
urged the PFDJ, administrative bodies, public associations and other parties
to work in coordination in this regard. Economic activities should equally
proceed parallel with the political campaigns undertaken, and thus
concentrate on productivity, he added.
