Eritrean official due in Yemen

SANA'A, Jan. 07 (Saba)- Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh is to arrive
in the capital Sana'a early next week to deliver a letter to President Ali
Abdullah Saleh from his Eritrean counterpart Isaias Afewerki.
Well-informed sources said on Thursday that the letter is expected to
address the aspects of strengthening bilateral relations and prospects for
cooperation between the two countries and ways of developing them in various
fields.
The sources added that the letter will include the latest developments in
the Horn of Africa, especially the developments in Somalia and the regional
and international efforts to bring peace to it.
The Eritrean official will hold talks with Yemeni officials on coordination
on issues relating to combating terrorism and the fight against piracy.
