I attach the poster advertising the lecture by Professor Peter R. Schmidt,
of the University of Florida. He has just published in 2008 a book on
ancient Eritrean civilization with the Red Sea Press (New Jersey), which is
available at the University's Wilson Library.
I am sorry for the late notice, but the Anthropology Department just sent
out this poster on Friday. We hope some members of the Eritrean community
in the Twin Cities may be interested in attending the lecture and the
reception to follow, which will provide an opportunity to speak informally
with Professor Schmidt.
