Egypt strongly denies the report by the Anadolu Agency on its support of the opposition group in Ethiopia the “ Oromo Liberation Front ”
Foreign Ministry Spokesman:
Ethiopian-Egyptian relations are at their best condition and we wish stability and prosperity for the brotherly state of Ethiopia.
The Foreign Ministry Spokesman strongly denied the report by the Turkish Anadolu Agency on Wednesday, October 5 regarding Egypt's support of the Ethiopian opposition group the “ Oromo Liberation Front ”.
He stressed that Egypt firmly respects the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, particularly those that have great ties and relations with Egypt on the official and popular levels such as Ethiopia.
The Foreign Ministry Spokesman denounced attempts by some malicious parties to discord relations between both countries.
In the recent period the two bilateral relations have witnessed rapprochement and improvement on all levels.
The Spokesman asserted that the government and people of Egypt wish stability and lasting prosperity for the brotherly state of Ethiopia.
