My short comment on this Article: First, look at the title of this article carefully. It claimed “Thousands of African migrants saved off Italian coast”. They said that they have “saved……..African Migrants off Italian coast”. They are totally false on the location. They were so close off the Libyan coast. Evidence: I quote from Reuter. It said “ROME (Reuters) - More than 4,650 migrants were saved on Tuesday off the Libyan coast and 28 bodies recovered, bringing the total number of people rescued in the last 48 hours to nearly 11,000, Italy's coast guard said on Wednesday”  Date Wed Oct 5, 2016 11:51 am GMT.

So, many journalists of our time are so lazy, fraudulent and armchairs. They have no interest to investigate the subject and know the truth. They only cut and paste shoddy articles from their well furnished offices or houses in order to earn lot of money quickly.…………..Greediness, pure hypocrisy and opportunistic stance are few of our era’s dominant features.

The European Union and various „Help Syndrome individuals" are cooperating with the criminal human traffickers, who earn hundreds of Million Dollars, like hand & glove. The pretense of the Europeans claiming to secure their external borders in the Mediterranean Sea is a hoax. Their ulterior motive is to bleed Africa and robe its youths washing their brains at this time as they had done it before but, forcefully i.e. slavery and colonialism. They had just dumped the illegal African Migrants at the cost of Italy to unknown future. I really wonder how the people [Illegal Migrants and their Advocates……. I would rather call them sellouts, money monger opportunists and greedy middlemen-.women handlers] miss the unintended and dire consequence of this deadly and miserable illegal exodus from Africa to them personally and their native countries generally.

Around 4,555 migrants were saved by the Italian coastguard on Tuesday, in a dramatic day that saw more than 30 rescue operations off the Libyan coast.

Twenty-eight people died, the Italian coast guard said, 22 of which were found on an overloaded wooden vessel.

Aris Messinis, an AFP photographer travelling on a ship chartered by Spanish migrant rescue NGO ProActiva Open Arms, said that it appeared most of the dead had suffocated.

"It was a wooden vessel and there were about 1,000 people on three levels. I counted 22 bodies and there are still others in the hold," he said.

It is the second consecutive day of frantic, large-scale rescue missions in the Mediterranean.

On Monday, about 6,000 migrants packed in rickety boats were rescued of the coast of Libya.  Nine people died, including a pregnant woman.

The Italian and Irish navies, private merchant ships and tug boats, the European Union border agency Frontex and several non-governmental organizations are involved in the rescue operations.

Migrant smugglers are taking advantage of the calmer autumn period before winter begins to push more migrant boats out to sea to make the dangerous crossing to Italy.

Overall, around 3,100 have died since the beginning of this year attempting the crossing.

The migrants rescued this week add to the 132,000 people who have already landed in the south of Italy or been rescued at sea.

Conflict, poverty and fear of prosecution have uprooted thousands of people from Libya, Nigeria, Sudan, Eritrea and a number of other African states.

European law stipulates that migrants entering the European Union must stay in the country where they first enter the bloc. Therefore, while the majority migrants strive to get to northern Europe, most are forced to seek asylum or the right to remain in Italy.

Italy is increasingly struggling to deal with the growing numbers. Reception centers, where Italian and EU officials work to identify new arrivals and take fingerprints, are reported to be strained to bursting point.
