The Continuing Threat Against Eritrea Under The Pretext Of Human Rights

*Internet Transilation (From 18 January, 2016).
The U.S. imperialism and his servants accept no opposition to its global empire. ShowUp "failed States" such as Iraq and Syria to the independent-minded States such as Eritrea, Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador, to name a few, before, all of which are on the hit list.

How is it that Eritrea is regarded as a major human rights problem? An obsession in the ruling circles of the West and particularly by people who have never been in Eritrea is to demonize Eritrea. Human rights are valuable, but as ideological weapon used to isolate countries and smash, which do not submit to Washington's intentions. The establishment of a Special Commission to investigate human rights in Eritrea must be seen in this light.
Ertrea is a country that was constantly threatened with destruction, because it is in a corner of the world, where independently is not permitted, but only Marionettentum.

The anti-colonial struggles in Africa and the withdrawal of the old imperialist countries Great Britain and France gave hope to live free of apartheid and exploitation of peoples in Africa.

But Eritrea was allowed no freedom and in the period of the cold war Eritrea was made by Ethiopia the feudal lords from the United States for his Unterwürfigkei to the present.

What followed was a thirty years war of liberation against the feudal, brutal regime of Ethiopia, which was supported by the United States and then by the Soviets. ! 991 was Eritrea by the EPLP liberated after a battle, the historian Basil Davidson has equated with the Vietnamese anti-imperialist war.

All advanced knowledge about the imperial powers and their neo colonial policies gave the history and the experience of this war against the superpowers of the Eritrean fighters. The leaders of the liberated Eritrea have seen as the imperial powers prefer African leaders that are corrupt traitors to their peoples, who line their own pockets and steal from the people.

The human rights

The defence of human rights is a noble task, supported by the Government of Eritrea. But there are double standards. The human rights questions can be manipulated by the big powers. When the colonized peoples of the South fought for freedom and Liberation, human rights for the great powers and the United Nations were no question. When Eritrea fought alone against Ethiopia and the superpowers, human rights for the people of erirtreische were no question. When Eritrea from Ethiopia was 1998-2000 attacked and occupied, human rights were not a question.

The United Nations has, since 1963, commissions of inquiry (CoI) set up, and facts-finding missions to collect information about violation of the international and humanitarian rights and to compile. The special procedure called. The Human Rights Council has applied this in relation to Eritrea and appointed a Special Rapporteur: Sheila Keetharuth. They did it in accordance with the procedures, "through honesty, objectivity, honesty and good faith to maintain the independence, effectiveness, competence, and integrity".

And here all in the case of Eritrea goes wrong, because the report is not the normal criteria of documentation and application of the evidence. No use of expert committees and expert consultations, as it is by the OHCHR recommended but only one-sided representation. This is done and used in an effort to destabilize Eritrea, to allow unrest, foreign intervention or a coup d ' état:
  • Eritrean refugees are represented on one side as political refugees, where the CoI overlooks the fact that the United States, Europe, and the United Nations have suspended a bonus for Eritrean refugees.
  • CoI fact that many factors encourage migration.
  • The CoI has never visited Eritrea.
  • The CoI has interviewed never international organisations, which are present in Eritrea, such as the UNDP, UNICEF, OCHA, UNPPA, WHO, UNAIDS, FAO, which have a lot of expertise in Eritrea.
  • Interview data of asylum-seeking migrants, received without taking into consideration the fact that they have to tell Verfolgungsstories to obtain asylum.
  • No interviews with the international diaspora, which has close links with their relatives in Eritrea, who often visit Eritrea.
  • Use of information of Ethiopian official from a Government that has not revoked its Declaration of war against Eritrea.
  • The Special Rapporteur Sheila Keetharuth can be seen not as impartial, because she is a former staff member of Amnesty International, an organization, which works for regime change in Eritrea with open and secret ties to the CIA as the National Endowment for democracy (NED). Sanctions and war as a human rights issue
The war of aggression against Eritrea 1998-2000 Ethiopia has brought a lot of suffering for the peoples of Eritrea and Ethiopia. Ethiopia plundered and robbed in Eritrea and thousands people of Eritrean origin in Ethiopia have been ethnically purged, where they were born and were great. There's no mention in the CoI report. War is the worst attack on human rights, but in the eyes of the CoI, only Eritrea is the culprit.

Ethiopia is the puppet State of the United States in the region and still Eritrean territory occupies in contradiction to UN-led agreement, is but not punished.

Because there is no peace, Eritrea must be military on alert and can not demobilize his armed forces. This is a big burden for a small country, and the fruits of peace the Eritrean people have been stolen. The attack on the human rights of the Eritrean people to live in peace, are not an issue for the CoI.

2009, sanctions were imposed on Eritrea under the false claim that Eritrea al support the Shabaab Somalia. This has been refuted since then by UN beam, but the sanctions remain.

A sabotage of the country's promising development achievements is the ongoing violations by Eritrea's sovereign rights and the attack on Eritrea, desire to rebuild the country. But something has found international recognition, is not observed by the CoI.

The enemies of Eritrea does not see that Eritrea as the country is successful, which is why Ethiopia systematically leads lies campaigns with the help of multinational advertising agencies against Eritrea.

But Eritrea will give up not its sovereign rights and will give up also not its independent political stance, no matter how it not is called, also under the pretext of human rights.

A climate of occupying Eritrean territory and threats against independence are simply not conducive to its citizens, to exercise their fundamental human rights, but that is completely outside of the considerations of the Special Rapporteur, but only confrontation.

Eritrea and the human rights

Eritrea is not passive in the human rights issue and contributes with comprehensive periodic summaries, which are passed down to the UN Human Rights Council. The last national report was submitted on November 8, 2013 according to paragraph 5 of the annex to resolution 16/21 of the Human Rights Council. Include a report that reflects the fact that human rights are not only political rights, but also social and economic rights and where Eritrea refers to the political agenda behind the ongoing demonization.

The Government of Eritrea has set the following key priorities:

1. "Making social justice by ensuring General or comprehensive food security, health care, education, infrastructure and the reduction of urban/rural differences, as well as construction of roads, dams, schools and health centres and hospitals throughout the country within the framework of a balanced and steady development; "

2. Human development resource: In the center of the development is and remains a high priority for the Government of Eritrea human capital. In this context, it has begun several programs that promote human dignity, human security and human development. Free education up to the third stage; Providing health care at heavily subsidized prices, regular budget post for the benefit of disadvantaged groups of society and different activities that preserve cultural heritage, traditions and customs of the society; and

3. Environmental protection: a number of environmental protection laws have been adopted. Including inter alia the Government has issued guidelines for environmental safety and protection in the mining sector in accordance with the international standards (UPR)."

Crimes against humanity

In July 2015 the UN Human Rights Council has extended the mandate of the Commission for one year, to investigate the systematic, widespread and gross human rights violations in Eritrea with the aim of full responsibility, including in cases where violations are crimes against humanity.

The countries that are behind this decision, which include a number of countries with large list of crimes in the Middle East, should be ashamed what. The greatest crime against humanity in the case of Eritrea is the strategy of undermining and destruction of Eritrea's efforts to build a society that is committed to peace and social security. And this is crucial: in a region where war, ethnic conflicts, terrorism, trafficking in human beings, corruption, land grabs are the symptoms of Africa which are not yet freed from destructive external neo-colonial forces. Eritrea is a danger of the good example against neoliberal domination in Africa. And it is punished by a UN apparatus which never, never did anything to help Eritrea, to become an independent country. Peace and the lifting of sanctions are the solution to improving human rights in Eritrea and in the Horn of Africa.
